Versatile

The Basque Parrilla is a versatile fire, perfect for home garden kitchens, outside bbq areas, camp sites and restaurants. It’s easy to bbq fish, meats and veg as well as roasting braising and stewing.

 

Adjustable grills

A simple hand wheel allows the grills to independently be raised and lowered to adjust the heat, not only for professional quality barbecuing but for slow cooking, roasting and braising.

Brasero

A separate fire section for burning down your wood to embers ready for cooking. Simply burn the logs down to hot embers and push them under the grills to replenish the coals for cooking.

 

Extra large grilling area

The twin grill gives a very generous cooking area, whether you’re cooking for a small family bbq or catering a wedding or celebration, every inch of the Parrilla can be used.

Rustic iron

Our grills are made with raw iron, they are beautifully designed, constructed and finished with oil. They are designed to age and rust so they’ll look even more spectacular in 10 years than they do brand new!


Our story

We are Fiona & Joe, chefs, restaurateurs and lovers of Basque fire cookery. We’ve been cooking on ‘Asadors’ and ‘Parrillas’ in our restaurants for years, building and developing these grills as we go. This process has ultimately allowed us to design a beautiful, practical and versatile cooking station, making fire cookery simple enough to enjoy at home yet sophisticated enough to fire the imagination of the most ambitious chefs.

 

 

Designed by chefs

We’ve honed our craft in our multi award winning, Michelin guide listed, Spanish and Basque restaurants and have been building and developing our ovens and grills for many years. We are also very proud to supply our grills to Simon Rogan at L’Enclume.
